Abstract
A metabolizable new complex of 99mTc, formulated using tripolyphosphate and stannous chloride, shows considerable promise as a skeletal localizing agent from preliminary animal tissue radioassay and imaging studies. Callus was delineated well from normal bone in experimental fractures using this agent. The physical characteristics and relative tissue concentrations compare favorably to those of other shortlived bone-seeking radionuc1ides.
