Abstract
The development of the internet makes education internationalization possible for a certain course. Massive open online courses (MOOCs) are proposed as the new teaching and learning style to meet challenges from higher medical education. 98 undergraduates (ages between 18 and 23, average 22±1.5) studying neurobiology in our college during 2015 and 2016 were selected, and randomly divided into 2 groups, MOOC group and control group. The results display MOOC group received higher theoretical and experimental scores than control group (p<;0.001). The questionnaire exhibits higher satisfaction assessment, improvment of understanding, motivation of study, ability of problem solving, enhancement of memory and classroom communication in MOOC group (P<;0.05). Our data show the application of MOOC-assisted teaching in neurobiology can improve the teaching efficacy, which is worthy of application and dissemination.
