Abstract
<title>UNSTRUCTURED</title> The COVID-19 pandemic has a crippling effect on the health care systems. The pandemic still continues with cancellation of elective surgery procedures, disruption of daily life due to lockdown and social distancing strategies with significant morbidity and increasing mortality. However some of the changes and reorganisation undertaken may provide us with an opportunity from this crisis since experiences learnt and developed now, can signpost for a better future of health care systems. We would like to highlight some positive effects we can gather from the current COVID-19 pandemic.
