Abstract
In 1963, AIAA was formed through the merger of the American Rocket Society and the Institute of the Aerospace Sciences. AIAA maintains the digitized journal content published by its two predecessor societies (1930–1962) and is proud to offer the Journal of the Aeronautical Sciences, published by the Institute of the Aeronautical Sciences from 1934–1957.
