Abstract

Elevated levels of LDL cholesterol are one of the most important cardiovascular risk factors. It is important to know the state of the population in order to estimate the risk adjusted to the maximum level. The implementation of big data and geostatistical analysis in the clinical laboratory are innovative tools that enable the design of new strategies in primary prevention of cardiovascular disease. The cluster study is a tool that can be very useful in cardiovascular prevention. The objetive of our study is the detection of cardiovascular risk clusters based on the LDL levels of our study population.
