Abstract
The development of modern medicine and the gradual transition to the Healthcare 5.0 concept implies an increased role of automated clinical decision support systems (CDSS) in the processes of diagnosis and treatment prescription. However, despite the prospects of using artificial neural networks in CDSS, there is a problem of “non-transparency” - the inability to understand the reasons for the results, which is unacceptable for systems of this kind. The use of explainable artificial intelligence in CDSS increases the level of confidence in the technology. In the study the analysis of the current state of use of explanatory artificial intelligence in CDSS.
