However, with the swift integration of AI into the education system, many ethical challenges and dilemmas have surfaced; primarily driven by students’ misuse of the transformative technology. The potential impact on students' critical thinking skills, autonomy, and ethical decision-making further highlights the urgency to address these issues. This article explores the detrimental effects resulting from the unethical use of AI, along with proposing significant policies and guidelines in order to maximize the beneficial utilization of AI within educational institutions. Additionally, a comprehensive analysis of relevant studies will be presented to sustain the argument stated and contribute to the development of an AI learning environment that enables the prospering of both students and faculty.
