Abstract
Machine learning and artificial intelligence can change the traditional treatment style to the technology-linked quality of healthcare. The professionals of the health sector and their management fraternity have also welcomed this changing era of technology with quantum speed and showed their inclination to contribute more towards adopting and deploying intelligent systems for improving the quality and efficiency of the healthcare system. Since the healthcare system is primarily linked with the service delivery and curative part of infectious or non-communicable diseases prominent in the community. Hence, machine learning technologies have the potential to overcome or streamline medical healthcare analytics for improving healthcare service delivery. This chapter is a detailed analysis of the healthcare problems and how adopting machine learning platforms enhances the quality of healthcare services. This chapter will also describe the use cases and how effectively the machine learning methodologies benefit the entire healthcare system, environmental healthcare, and Hospital 4.0.
