Abstract
Precise and swift pathology is a major pillar in the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of a broad range of conditions, such as cancer, infectious diseases, and autoimmune disorders. It is an essential approach to preventive medicine, effective treatment planning, and identifying new diagnostic markers of diseases. Computational pathology, which involves computer-based methods to analyse and interpret pathological image data, has seen substantial evolution due to advancements in artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted methods, widespread adoption of digital pathology slides, and increased availability of pathology image datasets.
