Artificial Intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing the field of dentistry by offering innovative solutions to enhance diagnostic accuracy, treatment planning efficiency, and patient care. This review explored the integration of AI into dental diagnostics and treatment planning, highlighting key findings, implications for dental practice, and prospects. AI-driven technologies are reshaping the landscape of dentistry, from automated pathology detection and predictive modelling of treatment outcomes to personalized prosthetic design and virtual treatment simulation. Challenges, such as ethical considerations and regulatory compliance, and recommendations for future research and implementation are addressed. As AI continues to evolve, its role in dentistry holds promise in advancing patient care and transforming the delivery of dental services.
