Escritura especializada en el ámbito jurídico: un análisis de las macromovidas de demandas escritas con y sin ChatGPT3.5

Abstract

Discursive genres in the legal field are not easy to write. In this context, the present research aims to identify the differences that exist between lawsuits with and without ChatGPT3.5-assisted writing. Thus, based on studies on specialized legal writing, the theory of discursive genres and the phenomenon of ChatGPT3.5-assisted writing, lawsuits written by four law students were analyzed based on a preliminary rhetorical-discursive model of a lawsuit. The results reveal that lawsuits assisted with ChatGPT3.5 adequately fulfill only two macro-moves. Additionally, the obtained data outline some implications for the use of automated tools for textual and discursive analysis. Overall, this article provides an approach to the impact of AI on professional writing in the legal field
