Abstract
AI applications in dentistry are multifaceted, ranging from diagnostic imaging and treatment planning to patient management and predictive analytics. Machine learning algorithms can analyze radiographs with higher accuracy than traditional methods, identifying cavities, lesions, and other dental issues at early stages, which contributes to timely interventions and improved patient outcomes. Moreover, AI-driven software has begun to support orthodontics, enabling precise treatment planning through 3D imaging technologies that ensure personalized and effective care. Robotic-assisted surgeries are also making their mark by enhancing the precision of procedures, such as implant placement and root canal treatments. These technological aids reduce the margin of human error, shorten procedural times, and improve patient recovery rates. Additionally, AI is instrumental in patient management systems that streamline appointment scheduling, follow-up reminders, and treatment histories, thus improving clinic efficiency.
