Abstract
In hyperhistory, when technology interacts with technology which in turn interacts with technology, the role of humans has been changed from the centre to the periphery [1]. But does that imply that human beings as mental health professionals will at some point be replaced by artificially intelligent agents (AIAs)? If not, then what would be the nature of the artificial intelligence (AI)-mental health relationship? These are the vital questions we will explore in this chapter.
