Abstract

This survey paper gives an insight about the application of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) in the healthcare industry. This paper explores the process of accumulating and structuring healthcare data, dataset standardization, data quality assessment, prognosis, clinical decision support systems, healthcare operations' efficiency, population health dynamics, fraudulence identification, revenue cycle, patient participation, telemonitoring, individualized treatment, health care quality assessment, ethical issues, and real-world examples of healthcare AI applications and developments.
