Dr. Ayoosh Pareek—Associate Editor for Artificial Intelligence and Enabling Technologies Dr. Pareek joins KSSTA with a distinguished background in integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and enabling technologies into clinical practice. A Mayo Clinic-trained orthopaedic surgeon and Hospital for Special Surgery fellow, Dr. Pareek has pioneered the use of machine learning and predictive modelling in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. His award-winning research, including automated imaging interpretation and risk prediction for anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction outcomes, reflects his leadership in the emerging field of AI in orthopaedics. In his role, Dr. Pareek will guide KSSTA in showcasing cutting-edge research on AI and robotics, ensuring that the journal continues to explore how technology can revolutionise patient care. Her PhD research on personalised alignment in unicompartmental knee replacement, combined with her active participation in leading orthopaedic societies, positions her as a leader in addressing degenerative knee conditions. Dr. Batailler's extensive clinical and academic contributions will enrich KSSTA's focus on evidence-based advancements in knee degeneration management.
