Perceptions of the Impact of Artificial Intelligence Learning on the Training of Dental Students at a Public University

Abstract
Objective: Investigate the impact of artificial intelligence on the learning of dentistry university students at a public university in Peru. Methodology: It is a descriptive, observational, and cross-sectional study. The sample was made up of 173 students from different academic semesters, ranging in age from 17 to 50 years old. A written survey validated by dentistry and education researchers was designed, which included 12 questions with a 5-point Likert scale and 4 questions for each dimension: radiographic clinical diagnosis. We carried out data analysis using descriptive statistics as a summary measure of absolute and relative frequencies. Results: the level of influence of Artificial intelligenceI in improving clinical diagnosis is 60.7%; the level of influence of Artificial Intelligence in personalizing learning on training content is 63%; and the level of influence of artificial intelligence on legal and ethical challenges is 65.3%. Conclusion: The level of impact of learning artificial intelligence in the training of dental students at a state university is mostly high, at 66.5%.
