Abstract
This study examines the impact of ChatGPT on student learning in Jakarta, employing the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to assess the perceptions of ease of use, usefulness, intention to use, and actual usage among university students. Using SmartPLS for data analysis, with a sample of 413 students, the study confirms significant positive relationships between perceived ease of use, usefulness, and both the intention to use and actual usage of ChatGPT. Results indicate that ease of use significantly influences students' perceptions of usefulness and their intention to use ChatGPT. Additionally, both perceived usefulness and intention to use strongly predict actual usage, highlighting ChatGPT's role as an effective educational tool in enhancing learning experiences by improving access to information and understanding of materials. The findings suggest that integrating user-friendly AI-based educational tools can significantly benefit educational practices in urban environments.
