Abstract
This research aims to determine the methodological potential of the Engnovate artificial intelligence (AI)-driven language learning technology for fostering foreign language oral communication skills among students in language-focused higher education. The article explores the specific features of instruction in foreign language oral communication using a language learning technology, which, in this context, encompasses methods and technical resources for the collection, storage, processing, organization, presentation, and transmission of information for the purpose of language learning, specifically foreign language acquisition. The primary novelty of this study lies in the development of a methodology for implementing the Engnovate AI-driven language learning technology in teaching foreign language oral communication to students in language-specialized universities. The findings of the research resulted in a proposed algorithm for working with this technology to develop oral communication competence among language majors.
