Extent of Artificial Intelligence Chatbots' Integration Into Routine Medical Imaging: Exploring the Boundaries of AI Advancements

Abstract
The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbots into routine medical imaging offers promising potential to enhance workflow efficiency, reduce errors, and provide real-time assistance to healthcare professionals. This study explores the extent to which AI chatbots can be integrated into medical imaging, specifically radiology, to support professionals in decision-making and patient care. Through the development and testing of an AI chatbot, data was collected from 70 healthcare professionals in various roles. Participants assessed the chatbot's accuracy, precision, effectiveness, and ease of use, overall satisfaction, intention to reuse and comfort through a structured survey. The results showed that over 75% of healthcare professionals who interacted with the chatbot found it to be accurate, precise, effective, and easy to use. Results also showed a significant correlation between the chatbot's performance and users' satisfaction, intention to reuse and comfort. The findings suggest that AI chatbots can significantly contribute to improving the accuracy and efficiency of medical imaging processes, reducing human errors, and enhancing user experience.
