Abstract
AI advancements are revolutionizing nuclear medicine by enabling personalized precision in treatment planning. AI facilitates the analysis of complex datasets, including imaging, clinical history, and genetics, to create tailored plans. It enhances imaging modalities like PET and SPECT through improved accuracy, automated segmentation, and precise localization of areas of interest. In dosimetry, AI determines patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses, maximizing efficacy and minimizing side effects. Predictive modeling and real-time analytics support dynamic treatment adjustments, optimizing care. AI also bridges multidisciplinary gaps, accelerates drug development by modeling molecular interactions, and automates workflows, reducing administrative burdens. Despite its transformative potential, challenges remain, including data privacy, regulatory compliance, algorithm transparency, and equitable access.
