As artificial intelligence (AI) and metaverse technologies advance, they are reshaping the landscape of scientific collaboration, offering new pathways for researchers to connect, innovate, and solve complex problems. AI's capabilities in automation, data analysis, and predictive modeling are combined with the immersive and interactive potential of the metaverse to enable collaborative environments where scientists can work together in real time, regardless of their location. The chapter concludes with strategic recommendations for integrating AI and metaverse technologies into research practices, emphasizing the importance of interdisciplinary partnerships, digital literacy, and global cooperation.
