Abstract
This manuscript examines the transformative potential of integrating blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance healthcare supply chain management, focusing on combating counterfeit drugs and improving product traceability. Current systems are susceptible to cyberattacks and fail to guarantee drug authenticity, posing significant risks to patient safety. Blockchain technology offers a robust solution by creating an immutable and transparent record of the entire supply chain, from manufacturing to patient delivery, enabling verification of product origin and handling at each step. Smart contracts automate these verifications, ensuring compliance and minimizing errors. Integrating AI with blockchain further amplifies these benefits. AI algorithms analyze blockchain data to identify patterns, predict disruptions, and optimize supply chain efficiency. Furthermore, blockchain provides a secure platform for medical record storage, supporting AI-driven e-health models.
