Abstract
The impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on criminal ethics, examining both its advantages and the ethical challenges it poses. AI has transformed the way information is processed. Criminal investigations are carried out, optimizing the efficiency of data collection and analysis. However, its implementation has also had consequences, raising concerns about algorithmic bias, discrimination, and a lack of clarity in decision-making procedures. A critical analysis of the literature and case studies was conducted, highlighting the importance of a solid ethical framework to guide the application of criminology. The importance of implementing policies that promote equity and accountability, as well as appropriate training for experts in the sector, is emphasized. Consequently, it can be established that although AI offers essential possibilities for improving criminal practice, its incorporation must be done consciously and responsibly, ensuring the protection of individual rights, protecting human rights, and preserving the confidentiality of the public in the judicial system.
