Abstract

Introduction: Interest in research on precision health and precision medicine has increased. The study's purpose was to explore and analyse the topic of precision health and precision medicine through bibliometric analysis. Methods: Bibliometric analysis was used in this study. Records were identified through database searches https://app.dimensions.ai/, further selected by the PRISMA flowchart. Paper restricted in publications years 2016 - 2025, with focus on the field of health sciences, nursing, public health, clinical sciences, and publication were the types of the article. Data were analysed using VOSviewer and then the analysis was reviewed by co-occurrence and co-authors. Results: The number of articles eligible to be analysed was 4060 articles. The peak of publications was in 2024, and the lowest was in 2016. The study was not conducted in the fields of medicine, public health or nursing, but also by scientists outside the health sector. Trends in precision health and precision medicine are currently focusing on artificial intelligence, primary care, and improving confidence through knowledge improvement for the adolescent population. It can be seen that the topics that have the visualization in the low category are big data, anxiety, stress, questionnaire improvement, pharmacogenomics, awareness, and ChatGPT. The majority of writers on the topic of precision health and precision medicine are scattered in developed countries. Conclusions: Precision health and precision medicine need to be further developed in various countries, especially in developing countries. Please choose a theme within the low category of visualization for finding a novel study in the future about the topic.
