<b>NEW & NOTEWORTHY</b> Artificial intelligence (AI) in medical education is a double-edged sword. The negative impacts of AI are more prone to being overlooked. Highlighting these negative potentials is necessary to increase the guided application of AIrelated educational activities by students.
