Abstract

ABSTRACT: BACKGTOUND: Physical therapy addresses the illnesses or injuries that limit a person's abilities to move and perform functional activities in their daily lives. PTs use an individual's history and physical examination to arrive at a diagnosis and establish a management plan and, when necessary, incorporate the results of laboratory and imaging studies like X-rays, CT-scan, or MRI findings. Rapid development of Digital Healthcare(DHT) technologies has revolutionalized healthcare industry. DHT based intervention has shown promising clinical benefits in managing disorders ,alleviating pain and improving functional impairments. In the modern world of 2025, the delivery of high-quality healthcare at a lower cost is made possible through remote virtual technology. In the year 2025, Technological advancements in the field of physiotherapy emphasis on Telerehabilitation, Gamification ,Wearable Technology, Robots, Artificial Intelligence(AI) and Machine Learning(ML). Telerehabilitation also known as e-rehabilitation is the use of telecommunication technologies to provide rehabilitation services to patients. Gamification promotes patients participation and self management.Wearable technology involves electronic devices worn on the user or combined with their skin to closely monitor their activities, without interfering with or restricting their movement. Robots helps in training sensorimotor functions in patients with Central Nervous System impairments. Artificial Intelligence is a field of mathematics promise for enhancing healthcare by patient involvement and improved decision making.
