As AI transforms clinical practice, the ability to understand and respond to the human experience of illness remains vital. Embedding health humanities into professional training ensures ethically grounded and culturally sensitive care. The integration of AI into healthcare should be guided by medical humanities scholars to ensure that empathy remains central and technology complements compassionate care.
