Algorithmic management (AM) has become a central topic of research since its introduction by Lee et al. (2015). This panel explores the evolution of AM research, focusing on its expansion into traditional organizational contexts, the design of AM systems, and its impact on interactions between employees and managers. Additionally, we discuss how AM research can provide practical and ethical insights for organizations, stakeholders, and policymakers. The panel aims to chart future research directions and foster meaningful engagement with key stakeholders.
