Abstract

This study examines the transformative role of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) in enhancing business-to-business (B2B) marketing within the IT and technology sectors, focusing on how GAI improves understanding of customer needs, operational efficiency, client engagement, innovation, and targeted marketing strategies. Using sector-specific sampling of decision-makers aged 30 to 49 in IT companies, the research confirms that GAI significantly benefits business development in the B2B space by driving efficiency, innovation, and advanced market analysis, with correlation analysis showing that sustained growth depends on continuous improvements in GAI capabilities. The findings highlight opportunities to leverage GAI-driven technologies and management strategies as competitive advantages in the digital marketplace, calling for comprehensive training programs, ongoing refinement of GAI applications, and strong collaboration between AI developers, marketing professionals, and business leaders. Organizational size and budget are shown to greatly influence adoption success, with larger firms achieving better utilization, while barriers such as skepticism, slow decision-making, and limited staff readiness can hinder progress. To address these challenges, the study recommends prioritizing workforce training, enhancing AI solutions, and fostering strategic partnerships to accelerate innovation, offering valuable guidance for organizations aiming to integrate GAI into their B2B strategies for sustained growth.
