Abstract
In Indian healthcare, the use of advanced technology such as AI along with intelligent automation, predictive automation, and secure data sharing augmented with real-time decisions in emphasis clinical and operational areas has started making fundamental transformations in the country's healthcare. Substantial adoption in operational excellence, clinical precision, and patient satisfaction has AI and Blockchain solved the problems of the traditional systems; delayed diagnostics, fragmentation of data, admin blunders, and transparency scarcity. This review aims to provide an overview of and cross-check the currently available academic and industry literature in the domain of patient data management, AI applications of machine learning, NLP, RPA, and computer vision in Blockchains based systems for consent management, clinical process automation, and fraud detection. This particular methodology relies on thematic analysis of AI and Blockchain in Indian healthcare systems and focuses on data ethically and securely protected, used without discretion, interoperability, and the shortage of qualified healthcare personnel. The study looks at the ways in which public and private healthcare institutions, along with digital health startups, are using these technologies to enhance diagnostics, treatment planning and patient engagement. Some of the important observations include the need for ethical AI governance, a need for improved interoperability frameworks, and human-centric AI systems. This review seeks to brief health care professionals, technology developers, and the policymakers on the current state, challenges and futures of AI and Blockchain in Indian health care ecosystem.
