Abstract
This framework provides a unified approach to detecting and correcting low-signal writing ("slop") in human and AI-assisted communication. Rather than relying on superficial format markers—bullet points, bold hooks, clean structure—this methodology identifies five structural failure modes that indicate genuine signal absence: Audience Drift, Unmotivated Structure, Zero Stakes, False Novelty, and Tone Flattening. The framework is expressed through three complementary artifacts: a mythic pedagogical module (The Echo Spirits of Glasshaven), a technical framework for engineering teams, and an operational governance template. Together, these provide a shared vocabulary, a rapid audit ritual, and scalable pedagogy for teaching signal literacy across contexts—from families and youth groups to SMBs and enterprise engineering teams.
