Abstract
Based on Merleau-Ponty's theory of embodiment, clinical decision-making is rooted in doctors' embodied perception, the integration of diagnostic intuition, and the embodied trust between doctors and patients. However, the recent surge in digital technologies, while enhancing the efficiency and accessibility of medical services, has sparked intense conflicts with the traditional foundations of medical embodiment. To analyze this conflict and its implications, this paper integrates Don Ihde's philosophy of technological mediation with Bernard Stiegler's perspective on technological pharmacology. Through this combined lens, it examines how digital technologies reshape the logic of medical embodiment, explores doctors' adaptive transformation within technological environments, and outlines reconstruction paths centered on physician subjectivity. Ultimately, reconstructing medical embodiment in the digital era necessitates human-technology symbiosis to safeguard the core position of doctors' embodied wisdom.
