Abstract
The development of artificial intelligence(AI) in the elderly healthcare system faces the challenge of the digital-intelligent divide, with technological advancements exhibiting a paradoxical effect. In terms of accessibility, available digital healthcare technology has improved hardware access, yet high-end AI medical tools have created a "technological privileged class." Regarding skills, although basic operational barriers have been alleviated, the complexity of algorithms has triggered a self-identity crisis among the elderly. In terms of outcomes, insufficient participation has marginalized older adults in the "virtual medical polis." Research indicates that the digital-intelligent divide is narrowing in certain aspects but deepening overall. In response, this paper proposes enhancing digital ethical governance in elderly healthcare, shifting AI technology from "aging-adapted" to "aging-delighted," and building a comprehensive societal support system to promote healthy aging and digital health equity.
