Abstract

This study aimed to explore the impact of using Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies at Irbid National University in Jordan on students and faculty members from the perspectives of faculty members. A descriptive-analytical approach was employed. Data were collected through an electronic questionnaire adapted to the Jordanian context and administered to a random sample of 129 faculty members from scientific and humanities colleges. The questionnaire included demographic variables (gender and college type) and two domains addressing the impact of AI technologies on students and faculty members. Data were analyzed using SPSS (version 24). The results indicated that the use of AI technologies had a high level of impact on both students and faculty members. No statistically significant differences were found based on gender or college type, except for a significant difference in favor of scientific colleges. The study recommended providing training programs for both students and faculty members to enhance their competence in using AI applications.
