Abstract
This research paper delves into the practical implications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Human Capital Management (HCM), over the next five to ten years. The study is aimed at assisting organizations in preparing for the future by addressing the inherent uncertainties associated with predicting it. A comprehensive analysis of AI's current usage within these modules is conducted through literature reviews and with a particular focus on core HR and recruitment. The paper explores upcoming HCM developments, including employee well-being, reskilling, diversity, technology acceptance, and employee experience, as well as anticipated legal trends. Additionally, the research identifies AI technologies associated with these HCM developments, including AI-enabled wearables, personalized curriculum software, workforce monitoring tools, and feedback systems. This research equips organizations with valuable insights into AI's role in HCM, helping them navigate ethical, legal, and technological challenges while preparing for the evolving landscape of human capital management.
