Abstract

The exponential advancement of Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) has transformed it into a tool present in society’s daily life. In the scientific community, more precisely the scientific communication community, its use enabled the optimization of processes and agility in publishing studies. However, at the same time, its use has brought challenges in terms of ethics, integrity, reliability, and transparency of published knowledge. By using the exploratory method, this study assessed the existence or non-existence of A.I. use policies and the focus of guidelines, showcasing the scarcity of policies and an intense framing of use policies by the author.
