Abstract
<ns3:p>The aim of the article is to analyze the new European regulations on artificial intelligence in the perspective of values such as safety, ethics, morality. Considerations includes the Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 June 2024 on the establishment of harmonised rules on artificial intelligence and the Council of Europe Framework Convention on artificial intelligence, human rights, democracy and the rule of law of 5 September 2024. Undoubtedly, regulations on new technologies are a milestone in ensuring legal boundaries, principles and conditions of liability for activities related to the use of artificial intelligence systems. Considerations include characteristics of artificial intelligence systems, challenges posed to regulation and possible legal consequences, in particular in the context of the above-mentioned values. Article draws attention to selected elements and issues that are important in times of such rapid technological progress. Presented issues are a starting point for scientific discussion and social assessment.</ns3:p>
