Abstract
This study examines the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in journalism, higher education, and communication and media studies, focusing on its use among Hungarian university students. Through a survey of 1,201 students, including 138 communication and media majors, the research explores AI’s impact on educational practices, ethical concerns, and its potential to enhance learning. The findings highlight AI’s transformative role in content creation, personalized learning, and data analysis while addressing challenges such as ethical issues, algorithmic bias, and job displacement concerns.
