Abstract
This work presents the conceptual design of an artificial intelligence–based educational system aimed at supporting formative feedback during preclinical dental training. The proposed system uses computer vision techniques to analyze images captured by students during simulated clinical procedures and provide an initial automated formative assessment of the work performed. The platform is conceived as a modular digital environment designed to enhance autonomous learning, improve the efficiency of preclinical practice sessions, and optimize faculty supervision time in undergraduate dental education. This record documents the conceptual development of the system and establishes the authorship and date of the proposed educational innovation.
