Abstract
The increasing prevalence of aging societies poses urgent challenges for healthcare and social engagement. This study investigates the adoption and impact of applied AI technologies through LINE chatbots among elderly users in Taiwan, focusing on health information access and community participation. A cross-sectional survey was conducted with 299 valid responses from older adults at Tainan Municipal Hospital. Exploratory factor analysis identified four major dimensions: community function usability, software functionality, photo check-in mechanisms, and social participation, all demonstrating high reliability (Cronbach's <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\alpha>0.97$</tex>). Regression analysis revealed that software functionality had the greatest effect on usability, followed by interactive mechanisms and social participation. These findings highlight how applied AI systems in healthcare communication can enhance digital inclusion and social participation among elderly populations, contributing to both theoretical models of technology acceptance and practical innovations in community-based care.
