The Future of Presentation: Practical Use of AI

Abstract

This article explores the role of artificial intelligence in digital content creation, with a focus on presentations. AI-powered tools help streamline workflows and enhance the quality of presentation materials, including those used in education. We examine one of the most widely used and accessible presentation software — Microsoft PowerPoint — highlighting how AI assists in content automation, design optimization, and personalized learning experiences. This technological integration has the potential to transform knowledge transfer and student engagement. The article also includes a proposed methodology for teaching this topic at the high school level, outlining concrete steps for integrating AI into the presentation creation process in education. To better illustrate the impact of AI, we compare a student-created presentation in PowerPoint without AI assistance with an AI-generated presentation using Slidego. In addition to theoretical and practical insights, the article presents findings from a survey conducted in Central Europe. The study focuses on the adoption of AI-supported software for presentation creation, providing valuable insights into current trends and attitudes toward AI in this context.
