Abstract
This academic preprint explores the critical landscape of Community Colleges and the Tech Workforce: Re-skilling for the AI Revolution. In the context of Technology & AI, we analyze the historical evolution, principal pedagogical models, and empirical evidence surrounding this topic. Our review of literature from 2020-2025 highlights the tension between established practices and emerging innovations. The results suggest that while significant progress has been made, several methodological and ethical challenges remain. We propose a new framework for Community Colleges and the Tech Workforce: Re-skilling for the AI Revolution that prioritizes evidence-based practice and student agency.
