Abstract
Abstract Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming Human Resource Management (HRM) by automating routine functions, enhancing decision-making accuracy, and enabling predictive workforce analytics. As organizations increasingly adopt AI-driven HR practices, the competencies required of HR professionals are undergoing a fundamental shift. Traditional HR education, largely focused on administrative and interpersonal skills, is no longer sufficient to meet contemporary industry demands. This paper critically examines the role of AI in reshaping HRM functions and highlights the urgent need for curricular transformation to prepare future-ready HR professionals. Using a conceptual and literature-based approach, the study identifies emerging AI-enabled HR competencies and proposes a restructured HRM syllabus integrating AI literacy, HR analytics, ethical governance, and strategic human–AI collaboration. The paper contributes to HRM pedagogy by offering a structured framework for curriculum redesign aligned with the future of work.
