Artificial intelligence (AI) is widely adopted within the healthcare sector, and some of the highly exciting AI uses leverage natural language processing (NLP). In short, NLP is an AI's specialized branch that focusses on the manipulation and interpretation of human-generated written or spoken data. It is a computer science discipline that calls for computational linguistics, artificial intelligence and other machine learning areas.
