Abstract
The aim of this research is to analyze how digitization impacts the healthcare services. The alert pace of innovation changes the face of traditional medicine and brings change for all those involved in the medical act: doctors, patients, management, authorities. For them, it is vital to know the many forms that digitization can take in the provision of healthcare services. The development of personalized medicine and the empowerment of patients are global goals that involve digital e-health services. The synergy between digitization-innovation-research has become a sine-qua-non condition for the modern economy. The paper address current Artificial Intelligence uses in Cardiology and Obstetrics and Gynecology. Regardless of the form in which it participates in the provision of medical services, the benefits of AI consist in saving time, ranking treatment methods, improvement of patient safety, reducing costs and increasing the quality of treatment by decreasing the number of proposed treatment schemes and medical errors. The findings of the article represent a tool for healthcare professionals who are concerned about the evolution of the medical sector.
