Decipherable for Artificial Intelligence in Medicare: A Review

Abstract

The major research areas in the field of artificial intelligence is categorized into three parts. The first areas are related to explainability of AI, the second area is related to applications of AI in different industries and the third area of research is associated with the loopholes in the AI. In this paper, we had focused on the second research area of AI and would limit our discussion to applications of AI in health industry. There are various applications of artificial intelligence such as Manufacturing, Automobile, Robotics and Gaming, Government, social media, E-Commerce, Education, Healthcare and many more. In this paper, authors had tried to summarize few latest developments for the applications of AI in healthcare, including clinical practice, translational research, and biomedical research. In this paper some major challenges of AI in healthcare such as Clinically inapplicable performance metrics, methodological flaws, Lack of standard medical data and few more challenges are discussed. The various solutions which can overcome these problems are also discussed. The aim of this paper is to find new scientific revolution which will help to understand the availability of technologies and to acknowledge the stupendous prospects of AI in healthcare. The various applications of AI in healthcare such as digital consultation, virtual nurses, Treatment design and few more dormant applications are discussed. This paper will further examine the current scenario of AI applications in health and offers some guidelines for institutions and care providers engrossing AI strategy.
