Abstract
This research aims to explore the potential of ChatGPT, a language model developed by OpenAI, in enhancing teaching and learning. The study focuses on designing activities that use ChatGPT to engage learners in language and content-based tasks. The research method includes a literature review and a design-based research approach. The literature review examines the current state of the art in the use of language models in education and identifies key issues, challenges, and opportunities. The design-based research approach involves developing, implementing, and evaluating a series of activities that use ChatGPT to facilitate language and content learning. The study aims to contribute to the development of innovative and effective pedagogical practices that leverage the power of language models in education.
