Abstract
The ethics of technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) are a major topic for many researchers and industry titans. But why are they paying attention to them? Is it necessary? If AI ethics were absent, would machines destroy humanity? It has been noted that AI systems are not impartial and do not produce reliable results. AI in healthcare might cause ethical concerns and patient suffering by failing to provide desired results. Furthermore, when AI technologies are further developed and applied to inclined decision-making, it is critical to establish procedures that address accountability in the event of errors for safeguarding and protecting AI-based solutions cannot be held accountable for their conclusions and decisions, just like any other diagnostic instrument. It is necessary to assign accountability and duty at each stage of the creation and implementation of AI for health. As a result, the health sector needs to utilize ethical AI. This chapter covers applications of AI in medicine and pharmacy, as well as laws and policies, ethical guidelines, guiding principles for stakeholders, and FDA regulatory recommendations for AI use in the health industry.
