Abstract
The article presents research on using artificial intelligence in education and science in Ukraine, using Berdyansk State Pedagogical University as an example. A survey of 135 teachers and 428 students was conducted regarding their experience with ChatGPT. The survey results showed that students are more inclined to use artificial intelligence than teachers. The research results confirm the potential of artificial intelligence to improve the quality of education and scientific research in Ukraine but also highlight the need for a cautious approach to its use, considering possible risks and costs.
