Abstract
The Training Centre in Communication(TCC Africa) was excited to host a webinar in partnership with the University of Rwanda to guide the Rwanda Academic community in using Open Access AI solutions.Wilson de Souza from Knowledge Unlatched introduced the Open Research Library, as a user-friendly platform that enhances the discovery of worldwide open-access publications covering different disciplines.From TCC Africa, Nicholas Outa led a demonstration on how to access and utilize the citation database, Dimensions, in exploring research grants, publications, citations, clinical trials, patents, and policy documents in one place.He also introduced the community to Scholarcy, an AI online summarization tool that can quickly identify the key points and arguments of research papers as well as more easily critically analyze papers to understand how the research builds on or differs from prior studies and effectively interpret large collections of articles.
